Environmental toxins are any chemicals or substances that are expelled into the environment by human activity. Negative impacts on human health, such as nervous system impairment, might result from contact with these chemicals. In this article, we will discuss some of the most prevalent environmental toxins that affect the nervous system, as well as their modes of action and the pathological pathways linked to their presence. Lead, mercury, pesticides, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are just a few examples of the poisons that fall under this category. Reviewers draw attention to the dangers of environmental contaminants and urge people to take measures to lessen their exposure.
